neko -- What needs to be understood is that Islam (which literally translates to "Submission") is a religion that demands its followers to convert or kill infidels (i.e., non-Muslims). America is the Great Satan and the rest of Western culture is seen as sinful and evil as well. All over the world, Islamic leaders are preaching hatred and encouraging violence, murder, and conquest. Far from being centers of religious enlightenment, mosques are places where Imams and Clerics indoctrinate their followers to hate Jews, Christians, and non-Muslims.

For example, Ijaz Mian was secretly taped by Britain's Channel 4 at the Ahl-e-Hadith mosque in Derby with this to say:

"King, Queen, House of Commons: If you accept it, you are part of it. If you don't accept it, you have to dismantle it. So you being a Muslim, you have to fix a target. There will be no House of Commons. From that White House to this Black House, we know we have to dismantle it. Muslims must grow in strength, then take over.... You are in a situation in which you have to live like a state-within-a-state--until you take over."

With shit like this coming out of mosques and other Muslim leaders espousing even more hate-filled ideologies, is it any wonder why Muslims worldwide are going nuts and committing all sorts of violent acts? And anyone who says the Islamic religion isn't at the heart of the matter is encouraged to explain to me why terrorists scream "Allahu Akbar" or "Allah Akbar" before they blow themselves up along with whatever innocent people are within range.

badgerbob -- That's what all the experts are saying as well. With morons like Michael Chertoff and the boneheaded dames at ICE "protecting" our country I'm not too confident.

hey morb,

some thoughts:

"...is a religion that demands its followers to convert or kill infidels ..."

erm. i have a muslim pal. and i have read some of the teachings of allah. and she (my friend) has elaborated on some of the passages. so, i dont think what you say is 100%.

i equate it to the stuff in the christian old testament. you know, "thou shalt not bonk animals, or eat bacon.." etc. its all in the interpretation.

now, on the one side of the world, you have these nut-job extremists, giving the "nation of peace" a bad name. just as you have jesus freaks going around acting all embarrassing... [except, the over-zealous christians dont go flying into buildings, or shooting pregnant ladies, or car bombing people.]

...anyway...

i think poverty and lack of education and information sources has a lot to do with the anger, hate, etc.

same thing happens in africa.

[good thing african countries are too poor/ havent been influenced by america/ or have any cia teachings done here to create terrorists by the states --> or had the IDEA to fly into buildings/ attack the states.]

erm... yeah.

so, according to the muslim friends i have, the wife and mother is supposed to be revered and honoured. what is happening in india, in my humble opinion, is due to poverty and lack of human rights...

and in conclusion, poverty sucks. hating all the infidels; that wont solve anything. responding with WAR, ditto -- whats the point? kill more people? for what??

war is a GREAT economy booster. its big business. and only the richest of the rich are benefitting from it. ie, bush's buddies.

eradicate poverty and illiteracy, ensure human rights, and i believe the world will be a happy place for everyone.

it boils down to basic human needs -> food, shelter, sex... etc.

when everyone has dignity and access to these things, or the ability to work for the things they want, shit wont happen.

bleh.

i have to go slit my wrists now. i sound like f***ing oprah.

With the venom willow is constantly spiting forth at me, I think she would make a great Muslim psycho. A name change to Achmed would also be appropriate.

It's a shame that there are so many fools in this country who sympathize with those nutjobs. How come my local Tv and newspapers are not filled with ads, from Muslim groups denouncing the atrocities being committed by those other members of their peaceful religion???

Probably because, when they huddle together in their nice, SAFE, comfortable homes in America, scheming and plotting, they too , dream of the day when the muslim religion will rule the world, and America's might and power will be diluted from terrorist attacks on home soil, and by the hordes of illegal aliens, who feed off of , and weaken her like an army of parasites.

You and your matted body should be dumped in a big whole, along with all those muslims who have an axe to grind, and all those camels who stink up the earth. Praise be ... yada yada yada.

I called this one too, Morb.

Neko -- First of all, like anyone who makes similar comments about Islam on this page, I would suggest you read the following books before having an opinion on Islam: The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and the Crusades, and Islam Unveiled by Robert Spencer. I also suggest reading his work on the blog www.jihadwatch.org. He is an expert on all things Islam; in fact, he knows more about the religion and its history than most Muslims. These books contain facts about Islam that are irrefutable and show the violence and hatred behind the founding of the religion that many followers still embrace to this day. Robert Spencer even has a new book out called The Truth About Muhammad. I think the title is self-explanatory.

As far as having Muslim pals: So? I had Catholic friends that were completely in the dark about Catholicism. They knew nothing of the religion’s doctrines or dogmas, hell, not even its history (and I thought everyone had heard of the Inquisition). The fact is, just because someone subscribes to a certain religion, it doesn’t make them an expert. Not that your Muslim friend is ignorant, but to fully understand Islam is to understand its violent past and its violent principles that are unchanged even in the modern world.

Of course, the mosque she attends may very well be a place of religious teaching and not militaristic indoctrination. Islam can be separated from its more radical teachings (hence the term “moderate Muslims”). However, to claim that Islam, true Islam as it was intended and invented by Muhammad, is and has always been a religion of peace is to completely ignore the facts. Apologists try to hide it or explain it away, but to those who have done even moderate amounts of research, that shit don’t fly.

Not “bonking” animals and not eating bacon hardly need interpretation; however, neither do the following suras:

When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly. (Sura 47:4)

When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters [al-Mushrikun-sometimes rendered as pagans or polytheists. It can also mean Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians] wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy [i.e., the jizya, a special tax on non-Muslims], allow them to go their way. God is forgiving and merciful. (Sura 9:5)

Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to unbelievers but merciful to one another. (Sura 48:29)

I could go on (the whole book is full of this shit), but I don’t need to. Oh yeah, here’s one for all the feminists out there:

Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. (Sura 4:34)

And while the Old Testament is full of violence, it’s called the Old Testament for a reason. Here’s a super quick explanation:

In the Old Testament God was the angry God preachers love to scream about because He was trying to establish His people (the Jews) in a perilous and violent time. Rules like no eating pork were put in place to protect His people. However, when Jesus (Y’shua was His real name, by the way) died on the cross, the Old Testament or covenant ended and the New Testament or covenant began. God gave His only Son to forgive humanity of all its sins, past and present, and from then on was all about love and forgiveness. Hence all that love your enemies, turn the other cheek stuff.

Anyway, although both parts of the Bible are important, all those annoying Christians running around know the Old Testament shit about stoning people and other violence no longer applies. They also know, that even if it did, that stuff doesn’t fly in the modern world. Many Muslims and Muslims leaders, on the other hand, teach and commit the violence written about in the Qur’an as if society hasn’t advanced since the seventh century. Ayatollah Khomeini is one such Muslim leader, for example:

Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled or incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world...But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world...Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them [the non Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Does this mean sitting back until [non Muslims] overcome us? Islam says: Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you! Does this mean we should surrender [to the enemy]? Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for the Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other [Qur'anic] psalms and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all this mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim."

Ah yes, the poverty myth. Marc Sageman, a CIA case officer working with the anti-Soviet Afghan rebels in Islamabad, Pakistan, from 1987 to 1989 who currently teaches at the University of Pennsylvania, compiled one of the largest non-government databases of terrorists in the world. He discovered that three-quarters of his sample of terrorists were from the upper-middle class. 90 percent were from caring, intact families, and sixty-three percent had gone to college, as compared with the 5 to 6 percent that is usual for the Third World (remember, even Osama Bin Laden’s family is very wealthy).

“[A]bout three-fourths of global Salafi Mujahedin [the radical Islamic movement of which al Qaeda is part] was solidly upper- or middle-class, refuting the argument that terrorism arises from poverty.”

And don’t even get me started on the CIA creating terrorists thing (or Bush’s friends getting rich on war or whatever). If you really want to know what’s up, I suggest you read the book Disinformation: 22 Media Myths that Undermine the War on Terror by Richard Miniter. The media worldwide is full of shit and knowingly report lies on a regular basis. This book covers that when specifically related to terrorism.

My point should be clear no matter how quickly this shit was written. There have been so many recent attacks committed in the name of Allah, it should be obvious to anyone there is a problem stemming from that religion. I don’t know what the teachers are preaching in mosques in South Africa, because, to be perfectly honest, I’m a little more concerned about America. And with good reason, as recent events prove. I also recommend reading www.debbieschlussel.com from time to time. She’s a gutsy gal who goes undercover into mosques and then reports on what is being said. She’s already exposed numerous anti-American, pro-terrorism mosques. While this may not be as common where you live, it certainly is common here (and in England). These people are plotting to destroy the country from within all for the sake of Allah and a worldwide Muslim Caliphate. I have cause for concern and it isn’t Islamophobia. I don’t want to be forced to submit to sharia law.

P.S. Read badgerbob’s comment below. Right on the money.

Badgerbob -- That was very well put and very well summed up. I probably would have gone on some weird rant for several pages and thrown something about space aliens in. You know, to compare with the millions of illegal aliens that are invading in reality.

Uh-oh. Some Mexicans are here, and they reclaimed my front yard for Mexico … or the Aztec nation or something.

willow -- I somehow figured you would. Isn't it nice how the media has turned it into an anti-gun story rather than into a "Hey, look! Another Muslim dick hole killed a bunch of Americans" story.

Morb, I am humbled by your praises, but more importantly, how long did it take you to come up with that reply to Neko. Holy shit!

Willow , quit jumping on the bandwagon, and try falling under a bus.

hey.

wow. i feel.. lied to by the governments and media..

why isnt that a shock?

i must plead ignorance. ive based my thoughts on what ive read and what the media says.. havnt done any real research into the subject, just hear-say mostly.

il have look at getting the books you mentioned there. hope theyre not too expensive..

thanks for the info, you've changed my perception.

you see, morb, a bigger issue here in SA is the whole racism thing. it's pretty much negatively affected every person in SA.

[even the people who benefitted back in the old days, are affected].

anyway, for someone who is as ill-informed as me [and id say, most people], sometimes what you rant sounds very... islamophobic, as you say.

but, after reading your motivations for what your beliefs, it all clicks into place.

turns out your *seemingly* racist ranting, was justified.

thanks for the reply. just know that not **ALL** people [islams] think that way. but, i understand what you're saying.

For the love of all that's holy, these long-winded replies contain too much information and require too much thought to decipher, even if they are intelligently written and well-thought out.

For those among us who have ADD, ADHD, ADDS, SAD, APATHY, XANAX, and RAGE; it's easy to lose our train of thought and start thinking about torturing terrorists, skinning badgers, and screaming obsenities out the window at strangers walking along the sidewalk.

People are starting to stare up at me!

Badgerbob – You know what humbles me? The superior vocal stylings of Mr. Engelbert Humperdinck.

I wrote that response as quickly as I could. You see, although I am working freelance right now, I have hired a large Samoan guy to yell at me every few minutes if I’m shirking my responsibilities. A little bit of terrifying motivation never hurt anyone. In return for his services, I have agreed to plant pineapples on Samoa. (They don’t grow there naturally, and he prefers them to coconuts.)

Neko – The media is terrible around the world. This whole Islam thing is driving politically correct people in power to do what they do best: ignore the facts. I’d also like to point out, just for shits and giggles, that Islam is not a race. It is a religion; therefore, even the most all-out, anti-Islamic folks are not racist (unless they specifically hate Muslims because they think all Muslims are Arabs, of course). For example, as if one were even necessary, John Walker Lindh was an American who was raised Catholic; he later converted to Islam and began fighting for the Taliban. And, yes, I know that not all Muslims are bad. However, the non-terrorist Muslims where I live would do well to make their opposition to terrorism and Islamofascism public. Right now that’s a very rare occurrence, which is, to say the least, quite vexing.

Anyway, the media lies more than the government, and I’ve learned not to trust either of them without looking into things myself. I never expected to use this whole blog deal as an outlet for my political views. I just wanted to be vulgar and offend people, making a few folks here and there chuckle a bit. Because I spend the great majority of my free time researching Islam and other political and pseudo-political issues, I sometimes find it very difficult to keep it off the blog.

I can see why the racism thing would be an issue to everyone in SA. Back in college, I had a friend from SA (a white guy). During the ethnic studies portion of the curriculum, many black students were pissed off when he talked about being African. I suppose they were upset he was “more African” than they were. It was quite puzzling.

If you can’t find the books or they cost too much, I suggest checking out some of the websites I’ve already mentioned. There are a number of good links in my links section. In fact, the Walid Shoebat link is the website of an ex-terrorist. He was a part of that whole mess, and needless to say, you can learn a lot from him. Anyway, happy reading.

Willow – You have to love blogs. On blogs, even heavy smokers can be long-winded. Although there is no hope they’ll ever become effective cross-country skiers.

The way I see it, if you’re in public and people aren’t staring at you funny, you’re doing something wrong … or perhaps hiding your tourettes too well.

Islam---the religion of stoopid, ignorant, goat fuckers. Don't Muslim bstard men fuck each other in the ass in the hope that one of them will shit out the reincarnation of Mohammed? What kind of religion is based on worshipping a piece of shit? How pathetic. I guess I might want to blow myself up too if I was forced into spiritual prostration to a turd.

newyorkmoments -- Yes, many Muslim men do pound each other like a Jamaican on steroids pounds a steel drum, but since homosexual activity is forbidden in the koran (until Paradise), they call it something else. You see, since the punishment for homosexuality under sharia law is to be crushed under a large rock, Muslim tushy-pushers often call themselves Ali Baba's thieves. I'm not sure why, but experts on the subject think it has something to do with spelunking.
