The End of Dissection: What a shame

Update, Aug. 23

It’s a pity that I never got to see them live. Stupid Luciferian fire, dark gods, and wrathful chaos. I blame them for this shit.

So he killed an Algerian...

Long story, really. I've read various acounts of it. I've read that Jon's friend used Jon's gun to kill the gay Algerian. Whatever, Jon did his time and was back to making great music with Dissection--then he killed himself. What a waste. dissection was a great band.

I met lots of Algerians while I was in Paris. Most of them tried to corner me on the street & feel me up. Fuckers.

You didn't have to pay all that money to go to Paris. I would have done that here for free.

Gees that shit's eery.

Do all death metal heads believe in Satan like that guy? (yes, I'm asking you if you are! hahaha! Just didn't want to seem nosey!! hehehe)

newyorkmoments -- Funny you should say that. That's why Jon's friend killed the Algerian. He was a homosexual who wouldn't stop trying to fondle them. Over two hours of a gay Algerian feeling you up relentlessly is reason enough to kill if you ask me.

badgerbob -- They do say Paris is for lovers.

cherry! -- Well, more black metal guys than death metal guys have satan issues. I think most of the time it's just for show, while sometimes--Jon as an example--they take it seriously and either kill themselves or twenty other people.

Personally, I know Satan. He's a dick and owes me fifty bucks. However, I worship Bill Cosby as god and smoke the dried blood of Jim Varney while stabbing myself between the toes with a letter opener. So, no: I'm not some kind of weird Satanist or anything.

Gotta blame somebody..

So I take it you aren't a satan worshipper then, since as far as I know you haven't done either. Well not that you've blogged about anyway.....hahahaha.

just thinking -- They were drunk, too. The murder was an accident, anyway. The 200+ grave desecrations Jon was responsible for, however, were not. Black metal has a long and brutal history.

cherry! -- No, I don't worship the devil. Worshipping the devil is for depressed teenagers, overly dramatic types that like wearing cloaks, and unstable Scandinavians with mental issues. I'm obviously a televangelist; the one with all the money.

Sorry, not familier with that band
(I'm an old guy) but suicide is so
terminal.
I've fondeled many a woman over the years, it's easy just wear dark glasses and act blind & tell them you need to read them- it works.

polyman2 -- I believe the band was started back in 1989. Storm of the Light's Bane is a helluva record. Yes, suicide is such a waste; although, it seemed to be what Jon really wanted. He must've had a hot date with Satan.

I never fondle women, they might take it the wrong way.

I agree that worshipping the devil is totally weird. I tend to stick to just worshipping bottles of wine.

morbid misanthrope said...

cherry! -- I don't worship bottles of wine, but I certainly do admire them. Even two-dollar bottles of wine need to be appreciated--then imbimbed very quickly followed by a quart of whiskey. It's almost Friday.

its fascinating how the prettiest bottles of alcohol, can hold the vilest tasting stuff..

but, i guess when you get dangerously drunk, flavour and taste doesnt rank real high on the ole priorities list.

It's already Friday here. Praise the Lord (and by that I mean a bottle of wine followed by a bottle of vodka and some cigarettes)! But it's not yet 5pm......4 hours to go!! Hoorah!

Have a great weekend! I'll have a few drinks for you and Satan the Goat.

neko -- It's usually a miracle if I can afford booze that comes in a glass bottle. Not that I have anything against whiskey in a plastic bottle, but the quality is certainly lacking there. The price is right, though.

You're right. When drinking whiskey as fast as I do, taste takes second place to affordability.

cherry! -- If I start drinking on the way home from work, I might be able to start drinking at 5:30 or 6:00. Aw, fuck it; I'll just drink on my lunch break, too. That's what stairwells in office buildings are for. Have a great weekend.

any and all religous wackos scary me. There is very little difference between christians, wiccans and satan freaks. They are all strong in their convictions and no one can get them to think any ohter way. He had his mind set and he did it. Got to give him credit for doing what he set out to do.

honkeie2 -- They're all potentially nutty, fortunately, though, most Christians and Wiccans just tend to be annoying as opposed to dangerous. Satanists, too, are usually harmless--unless they make you laugh yourself to death. This black metal insanity shit (also, MLO in Jon's case), however, has been partially responsible for, at the least, vandalism, and at the worst, murder. At least it's pretty damn entertaining. Plus, again, Storm of the Light's Bane kicks ass.
